Studies in English

All candidates who would like to untertake studies in English are invited to get information and register for studies – according to the dates provided.

The admission process for programmes conducted in English takes place through the Internet Recruitment for Candidates System IRK (English and Polish versions available).

Required documents:

  • in case of application to first (BA) or long-cycle (MA) studies – the original of secondary school (maturity) certificate and transcript of grades, entitling to undertake university-level study in country in which the certificate / document was issued
  •  in case of application to second-cycle (MA) studies – the higher education diploma (MA, BA, engineer diploma or equivalent) and transcript of grades obtained during the course of study, entitling to continue university-level study in country in which the diploma was issued
  • a personal information sheet including a photograph of the candidate meeting the requirements set for ID photographs, printed off the candidate’s personal registration account;
  • an application for an electronic student ID card, printed after the foreigner has uploaded his/her photo into the personal registration account
  • statement on becoming acquainted with the amount of fees for educational services at Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities (available at the candidate’s individual registration account in section “Enrollment applications” )
  • Consent for undertaking studies by the under-aged applicant – declaration by the parents / legal guardians of the under-aged applicant [a sample statement in pdf format] and information clause on personal data processing which should be signed by the each of legal guardians [a sample clause in pdf format]
  • document stating that the diploma entitles to undertake or continue university-level study in country in which the diploma was issued (such proof should be issued or certified by the school or educational institution which issued the diploma or by educational authorities of the country which issued the diploma or in which system of education the school operates) with translation into language of instruction of the chosen studies
  • a photocopy of visa or other document proving legalisation of stay in Poland – in case of foreigners staying in Poland
  • document confirming English Language knowledge on B2 level
  • original sworn translations into Polish language of legalised/signed apostille secondary school (maturity) certificate and transcript of grades or the higher education diploma and transcript of grades (in case of other than sworn translation – translation legalized by the Polish consul in the country where the documents were issued) – depends on the level of studies
  • All candidates are required to pay the registration fee: 85 PLN

* the date of posting inflow of funds to the UPH account decides if the payment was done within the deadline

Please note! Documents printed out from individual registration account at IRK system must be signed by the candidate.

 *Candidates may apply for admission to programmes conducted in the English language, if:

    1. they hold a document confirming their command of the English language specified in the provisions issued under Article 47 of the Act of 21 November 2008 on Civil Services (J. of Laws of 2020 Item 265 as amended) or
    2. they hold a Certificate, Diploma or another document confirming secondary-school completion abroad, where the language of instruction was English, or
    3. it is confirmed in the process of enrolment that their preparation and level of command of the English language allows them to take up studies in English.

All documents issued abroad should be translated into the Polish language by a sworn translator entered into the register of sworn translators/interpreters maintained by the Minister of Justice or produced and attested by a relevant Consul of the Republic of Poland

IMPORTANT:

1. All educational documents need to be legalized by Polish Consulate or Apostille in the country of issue.

Legalisation

Original certificate or its duplicate need to be legalised by:

1) Polish consul in the country where the certificate was issued or in the country in which educational system a school operates;

2) if a certificate was issued by a country – party to the Hague Convention of 5th October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement for Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents, an original certificate, its duplicate or a notarial copy with an Apostille placed on it or attached to any of those documents must be submitted.

Apostille

On October 5, 1961 the several nations joined to create the simplified method of legalizing documents through the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents.

If your country accepts the Apostille (also called Apostille Certificate or Certificate) as a form of international document legalization your degree must be certified by Designated Competent Authorities.
