Student housing complex
The UPH Student Housing Complex has 4 student dormitories: Student Dormitory No. 1 at 49 3 Maja Street and Student Dormitories Nos. 2, 4 and 5 at 17/19 Żytnia Street.
Approximately 700 places await students in two-room segments with fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms.
All rooms have internet access and intercoms. In addition, each building has a laundry room, there are guest rooms, and Student Dormitory No. 4 is equipped with rooms adapted for people with disabilities and a lift. For the needs and convenience of the students, the reception desks in the dormitories are open 24 hours a day.
The advantage of the complex is its very good location. Student Dormitory No. 1 is located in the immediate vicinity of the Faculty of Sciences and the railway station, bus station and city centre with its numerous catering, shopping and service points and cinemas. The dormitories on Żytnia Street are adjacent to the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Humanities and the Main Library. The Sports Hall, a city park with recreational areas and public transport points are all within walking distance.
A student wishing to live in a Student Housing Complex submits or sends a completed application for a place to the chosen Student Dormitory. A great convenience is the possibility to submit the application for a place electronically. To use it, log into the UsosWeb system where, in the "For Students" section, there is a creator for such an application. Students are accommodated in student dormitories according to their faculty allocation - which facilitates communication, learning and integration.

A place in a student dormitory may be granted first to a student in a difficult financial situation. A full-time student may also receive a social scholarship of an increased amount for accommodation in a student dormitory or a facility other than a student dormitory. In order to obtain a place in a student dormitory, an application should be submitted to the manager of the chosen student dormitory immediately after receiving the decision on enrolment.
