The programme in Waste Management and Recycling was developed in response to the growing problems in the modern world associated with the generation of municipal and industrial waste by the society. If you become a student of this programme, you will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, diagnose and define fundamental problems related to waste management, its storage, transport, disposal and methods of transforming it into usable resources. Graduates will be prepared to undertake work in production and service companies as specialists in the field of waste management, in institutions responsible for environmental protection, in administrative bodies, especially local government bodies, as well as to run their own business in the field of waste management.
